Ed was the son of Edward Adolphson (1880-1930), a 1902 Danish immigrant schooner captain, and Adeline Boehm (b. 1887), a native of New Orleans. He was born at 725 Fayard Street in Biloxi, the eldest of their four children: Albert Adolphson (1909-1986); Edward William Adolphson (1912-1913); James Martin Adolphson (1923-2004) m. Avis Marie Fountain (1926-2010); and Edna Mae Adolphson (1918-2006).
Albert lived at Biloxi his entire life and made his livelihood as a commercial fisherman. He was survived by Edna Mae Adolphson, a sister, and James M. Adolphson, a brother, both of Biloxi.
Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home of Biloxi directed Mr. Adolphson's funeral. Internment was in the Biloxi Cemetery.
