SHARON, PA. - Mrs. A. Ruby Boyes, 74, 760 Prindle St., died at her home Thursday.
She was born Nov. 28, 1915, in Warren, Ohio, the daughter of John J. and Edna Mae Gause Wolfe.
Mrs. Boyes was a member of Christ Lutheran Church, Croatian American Civic Club and its Auxiliary in Farrell and Western Reserve Ladies Auxiliary.
She had been active in Girl Scouts and was troop organizer for Sharon elementary schools.
Survivors include her husband, Ewald "Dutch" Boyes, whom she married July 6, 1937; three daughters, Mrs. Rodney (Candace R.) Ott of Sharon, Jacqueline K. Boyes at home, Mrs. Victor (Cynthia J.) Miskolitz of Hermitage; and four grandchildren. Two brothers and a sister preceded her in death.
The funeral will be Monday at 11 a.m. at Harold W. Stevenson Funeral Home, 264 E. State St. Burial will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park, Hermitage.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday.
The family requests material contributions to the American Heart Association.
