SANDERSVILLE, Ga. - Mrs. Nell Babb May, 88 years old, entered into rest On June 1, 2004 at NHC Healthcare of North Augusta after a lengthy battle with Alzheimer's. She was the widow of the late Wilbur May. Graveside funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, June 4, 2004 at the Pine Hill United Methodist Church near Warthen, Ga. The Rev. Bill Moody will officiate. Mrs. May obtained many friend when she worked in the children's department at Belk's Daniel Village until her retirement. She was a member of the Warren Baptist Church and the Naomi Ruth Sunday School Class. She was also a member of the Cross County Garden Club for many years. Mrs. May was a volunteer at St. John's Towers and Blair House. She was the loving mother of three children, Joyce May Daniel of North Augusta, S.C., Joan May Law of Atlanta and W. Burke May of Greenville, S.C.; five grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by a sister, Dorothy Babb Alford of Suwannee, Florida.
