W.C. HAMITER

Minden, Jan. 7 (Special).--W.C. Hamiter, 66 years old, died at his home here Saturday night after an illness of several months' duration. Funeral arrangements have not been completed. Surviving relatives are the widow; one son, S.T. Hamiter, of Shreveport; three daughters, Mrs. J.F. Richardson, of Shreveport; Mrs. E.M. Woods, of Minden, and Miss Aline Hamiter, of Minden; four half-brothers, Dr. J.E. Knighton, of Shreveport; Dr. J.B. Knighton, of Minden; R.H. Knighton and D.W. Knighton, of Homer, and two half-sisters, Mrs. Lynn Langston, of Los Angeles, and Mrs. Young Lyons, of Arcadia.

Minden, Jan. 8 (Special).--Funeral services for W.C. Hamiter will be held at 2 o'clock Monday afternoon at the First Baptist church in Homer, with interment in the Homer cemetery. The services will be conducted by the Rev. Frank Tripp, of Minden, assisted by Dr. J.L. Stone and the Rev. Evans, both of Homer.
