Val served his country in the U.S. Air Force. He was a member of the LD.S. church.
Val Johnson is a person that words cannot do justice for. He was a husband, father, outdoors man, and a friend to everyone. He changed the lives of many people by telling the truth in his own words (everyone knows which words'). He will be dearly missed and never forgotten by the people whose lives he has touched.
He is survived by his wife Orlee; children, Kathy (Jim) Webster, California; Mike (Lora) John son, Preston, ID; Gayle Johnson, Las Vegas, NV; Valinda Burkeen, Layton, UT; step children, Cindy (Fred) Weeks, Layton, UT: Sharol Hamlin, Michigan; 15 grandchildren, he and Orlee helped raise four of those grand children, Cody, Mandy, Justin, and Jeremy; many great-grand children; a brother Jerry Johnson and a sister Doris Jacobs.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
Graveside services will be held Wednesday, September 20, 2006 at the Clearfield City Cemetery. Friends and family may call Wednesday, September 20, from 12:45 to 1:45 at the Lindquists Clearfield Mortuary 1050 South State.
