JACK EDWARD DeBOLT, 80, of Wolcottville, died on Thursday, March 14, 2013, at Parkview Regional Medical Center, Fort Wayne. Mr. DeBolt retired in 1989 as the manager of maintenance at NIPSCO in Fort Wayne. Born June 4, 1932, in Fort Wayne, he was a son of Raymond Carl and Mabel L. (Wiswell) DeBolt. On Dec. 4, 1954, he married Betty J. Swift in Fort Wayne. Surviving are his wife, Betty J. DeBolt of Wolcottville; two daughters, Jacqueline Ann (Charles) O'Brien of Fishers and Diane Kay (Robert) Hermann of Fort Wayne; two sons, Stephen Robert (Roberta) DeBolt of Fort Wayne and David William DeBolt of Fort Wayne; nine grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Patricia (Clyde) Smith of Fort Wayne. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Robert DeBolt and Richard DeBolt; and a great-granddaughter, Olivia Grace Zahm. Funeral service is 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 19, 2013, at St. John Lutheran Church, 301 South Oak St., Kendallville, with calling one hour prior. The Rev. Robert Shriner officiating. Calling also from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, March 18, 2013, at Young Family Funeral Home, Kendallville Chapel, 222 South State St., Kendallville. Burial in Concordia Cemetery Gardens, Fort Wayne.
