She was born December 6, 1932 in Stokes County to the late James "Jim" Linsey Willard & Sallie Goins Willard.
Mrs. Goins was a homemaker and a member of White Room Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband, Glenn Goins of the home; daughters & sons-in-law, Geraldine & Don Hiatt of Mount Airy and Darlene & Charles Goins of Rockingham; grandchildren, Kim Burton & husband Chuck of Dobson, NC, David Willard & wife Tammy of Winston-Salem and Eden Willard and wife Sara of Yadkinville; seven great-grandchildren and sisters & brother-in-law, Ina Sue Hunter of Mount Airy, Ruth Collins of Pinnacle and Polly Patton & husband Donald of Winston-Salem.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Goins was preceded in death by her son, C.W. Willard; sisters, Elsie Goins, Louie Barker, Magdalene Palmer & Rachel Tilley and brothers, Monroe & Jack Willard.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, March 17, 2013 at 3 p.m. at Friendly Chapel Church conducted by Bro. Don Collins. The family will receive friends on Sunday, at the church from 2 p.m. until time of service.
