Sarah Ann Transue was the wife of George Evans. Her grandfather, Elias Transue was in the Revolutionary War along with his brothers and father. George died when he was 41. Sarah and children moved to Wilkes-Barre where she married Nicholes Ott.

NOTE: Frederick Transue (1830 - 1873) was NOT one of her Siblings. Frederick was the son of Anthony and Catherine Brutzman,Transue.
