Gillah Freeny McCrary was possibly the son of John & Jinnie McCrary of Baldwin County, and brother to Bartley McCrary.

Question as to his birthdate. The wooden marker is engraved with 1816. However, according to the 1870 census, he was listed as 48 years old. Which would make his birthdate closer to 1822.

When you are on 137 going towards Butler, Feagin road will be on your left. Once you are on Feagin road the drive to the cemetery will be on your right. There is a sign posted saying McCrary Family Cemetery by the drive. If you pass Whatley Pond Road then you have gone too far.
