WALESKA, Ga. - Mrs. Ona V. Peters, age 87, of Waleska, passed away on Tuesday, July 25, 2006, at the Woodstock Nursing and Rehab Center. Mrs. Peters was a member of the Sinking Creek Baptist Church and she also was a homemaker. There will be Graveside services on Friday, July 28, 2006, at the Washington County Memorial Gardens, in Johnson City, TN, at 1:00 p.m. where the body will be placed in state at 12:30 p.m. Survivors include her sons: Carroll Peters, of Waleska, and Conley Peters ,of Jonesborough, TN. 5 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive.
