CULLMAN, Ala. – Ola Mae Dulaney Waddle, 99, formerly of Fulton, passed away Thursday, March 14, 2013, in Cullman, Ala. She was born March 28, 1913, to Alonzo Dulaney and Cora Compton Dulaney. She was the oldest member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church. She enjoyed quilting, gardening, fishing and spending time with her family.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church with Bro. Jackie Gray, Mark Carnathan and Wade Bryant officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Senter Funeral Home of Fulton is in charge of the arrangements.
She is survived by two daughters, Ruth Freeman of Cullman, Ala., and Peggy (James Kelly) Miller of Silver Creek; brother, O.R. (Odell) Dulaney of Mantachie; two grandsons, Jon (Coleen) Freeman of St. Roberts, Mo., Corey Miller of Starkville; three granddaughters, Margie (Cecil) Alldredge, Becky (Will Burks) Smith and Jackie (Wade) Washburn, all of Cullman, Ala.; eight great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Alonzo and Cora Dulaney; her husband, Wayne Waddle; son-in-law, Jack Freeman; grandson, David Freeman; and four sisters and one brother.
Pallbearers will be Jon Freeman, Corey Miller, Wade Washburn, Will Burks, Mark Carnathan and Wade Bryan.
Visitation will be from noon to 2 p.m. today at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church.
