ANSONVILLE - Mrs. Emma Swan, wife of Hale Swan, died Sunday morning in the Philipsburg State Hospital. She was 65.
Mrs. Swan was born in Orbisonia, Pa., September 27, 1992, the daughter of Oscar and Junie Anderson Booher.
She is survived by her husband and the following children: Mrs. Thelma Lynch of Sanford, N.C.; Paul, an officer with the U. S. Army in San Francisco; Robert, Albermurle, N.C.; Donald, Albertson, Long Island, N.Y.; Mrs. Catherine King, Sanford, N.C., and Mark at home. One brother, Hayes Booher of Syracuse, N.Y., and seven grandchildren survive.
Funeral services will be held from the Swan homestead near here at 2 p.m. D.S.T., Tuesday in charge of the Rev. Amos Harnish. Interment will be made in the Zion cemetery.
