An article in the News and Observer, on Sunday, July 3, 1904, described the wedding of Katheryn [sic] Robinson Rawlings to William Whitehead Avera. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. F. M. Rawlings. Maid of honor was the bride's sister Caroline "Carrie" Rebecca Rawlings. (Caroline married L. Gordon White in 1906.)
