George Washington "Wash" Pearson was b 12-9-1813 in "Kent" or Kenton Co. Ky. He married Eunice Elizabeth Dean 7-18-1838 or 1839. They had 12 children that I could find. John William, Martin Richard, Elizabeth, Elihugh S.(my ancestor) Clayborn, Martha C, George W. Jr. (who died young) Amanda, Millard (Milton) "Filmore", Mary Adeline, Rachel M., & Mahulda. I have the birthdates of all these siblings. I have names of their spouses, except for Geo Wash Jr (who died young) & Amanda. I believe Rachels 1st husb died in a sawmill accident & she remarried. Geo Washington Pearson & wife Eunice Elizabeth Dean are buried in the Pearson family Cem on their homestead where they lived outside of Alton, Ind. It took me 15 years to locate this cemetry. The cemetary is abt a mile back in the woods off the gravel? county road. The Pearson family lost their land during the depression. A neighbor was able to buy part of it. The cem was still on government land when I visited there a few times abt 1997-1998. You have to cross private property to get to the cem & you need to get the owners permission cause they carry guns. Seriously. The cem is almost impossible to find without a local relative or a county surveyor. George, his wife Eunice & abt 3 more graves were sunken graves uphill in a roll, without modern tombstone. They had creekrock at the head. There were modern tombstones of newer generatios there. I read the cem, vidiotaped it & took pics of all tombstones. I drew a map of this cem location & of other close cemetarys where I found Sprinkles & Pearsons buried. I gave copys to the Crawford & Floyd Co librarys.
