Kenneth Anthony Linhares, Sr., 10/16/1927 - 3/13/ 2012, resident Of San Jose, was born in San Francisco and raised in Daly City, the youngest of 10 children. A long-time resident of San Jose, he passed away suddenly at his home. He will be greatly missed by his two children; Ken Linhares, Jr. (Lori) and Lisa Linhares, both of San Jose, and his grandchildren Francesca, Matthew and Jeffrey. He was preceded in death by his loving wife Ann. Ken had a 40+ year career of at the Bank of California, where he rose from teller to Senior Vice President, and he was the longest-tenured employee of the Bank when he retired. Ken was an avid golfer and sports fan. He loved to sing Karaoke (under his stage name, the "Deuce"), play crosswords and bingo, go dancing and take trips to Reno for getaways. Ken was a gregarious and happy man who loved to be around people and have fun. Friends are invited to join the family to remember him at a memorial funeral mass on Thursday, March 22, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Clare's Church in Santa Clara.
