Mary Jane Woosley Meadows passed away April 13 1921.
She was born on July 31, 1836 and was the daughter of the late R.W. and Malinda Patience Woosley.
She was preceded in death by her husband--Brightwell Garfield Meadows,Sr.
One son--John C. Meadows.
Survivors are--five sons--James Hanniable Meadows and wife Mary Jane Clifton Meadows--Everett Meadows and wife Mary Bell White Meadows--Jacob N. Meadows and wife Annie Elizabeth Shortt--Robert I. Meadows and wife Clara Lou Shaffer Meadows and Brightwell Garfield Meadows,Jr.
Four daughters--Alice L. Meadows Jones and husband Jacob A.--Sarah F. Meadows Shortt and husband Everett--Louisa J. Meadows Monk and husband Solomon and Mary Meadows.
She had one brother--Thomas Milton Woosley who was honored as the last and longest living soldier from the CSA to die in Buchanan County Virginia.
She is buried at the Jones Chapel Cemetery in Cedar Bluff, Virginia.
