Hubert N. Achor, 73, Rt. 1, Marion, died at 7:50 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 2, 1984, at his home, of an apparent heart attack. He was a lifelong resident of the Sweetser area and a retired farmer.
He is survived by two sons, James of Marion and Ronald of Sweetser, who also owns Archer Ace Hardware in Converse; a daughter, Isabel McGraw of Rocky Mt., N.C.; and seven grandchildren.
He was a member of the Jalapa United Methodist Church, where services will be conducted Monday at 10 a.m. The Rev. Kenneth Swan will preside, and burial will be in Gardens of Memory Cemetery, Huntington County.
Friends may call at the Larrison-Martin Funeral Home in Converse from 6 to 9 p.m. Saturday, and from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 Sunday; a Masonic service will be held at 8 p.m.
