Louis Baldwin, Sr. were
conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday in
the Brushwood Methodist
Church in Dubberly with Rev.
Paul Cassel and Rev. James
O. Evans officiating.
Interment followed in the
Brushwood Cemetery under
the direction of Rose-Neath
Funeral Home.
Mr. Baldwin passed away at
5:25 a.m. Friday in the
Veterans Hospital in
Shreveport following an extended
illness. He was 73.
Mr. Baldwin was born in Georgia
and spent his entire life in Dubberly.
He was a veteran of
World War II and was self employed
as a carpenter. He
was a member of the Brushwood
Methodist Church and
the American Legion,
He is survived by his wife,
Mrs. Ruby Mae Baldwin,
Dubberly; one son, Fred Louis
Baldwin, Jr.; two stepsons,
Bobbie Mott, California;
Jasper Peterson, Taylor,
Louisiana; a stepdaughter,
Mrs. William B. Mondngo,
Bossier City; three sisters,
Elizabeth B. Lattier, Bossier
City; Agnes Nicholson,
Minden; and Mattie Ethridge,
Arcadia; two brothers,
George Baldwin and Jim
Baldwin, both of Minden; and
12 grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Herman
Baldwin, Mack Pevy, Larry
Baldwin, Cecil Baldwin, Billy
Keith Baldwin, John McDonald,
and James Baldwin
