Mrs Elizabeth Beasley, an aged and highly respected lady and mother of R F Beasly of Avis, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs Emma Mowry at Seminole on Thursday, aged 82 years.
She had been in declining health for sometime and for the past month her condition had been rather serious. Old age is given as the cause of her death.
The remains were laid to rest this afternoon at Roles Chapple after funeral services there.
She is survived by four sons as follows: R F of Avis, E P of Cotton Hill, and F M and J B of Seminole; also four daughters, Mrs Mowry of Seminole, Mrs Woodrum of Forest Hill, and Mrs Willey and Mrs Gentry of Avis.
Mrs Beasley had spent about all of her life in that section and leaves a large number of relatives and friends.
