HARNDEN – At San Diego, Cal., April 12, William L. Harnden, aged 43 years, beloved husband of Mildred Harnden, son of Mrs. Susan Harnden Smith, father of Dorothy and Lille Harnden, brother of Ted and Frank Harnden and Estella Chalker, all of this city. Deceased was a member of Multnomah camp, No. 77, W.O.W., and Ivanhoe lodge, No. 1 K. of P. Friends are invited to attend funeral service today (Monday), April 20, 2:30 P.M., at the conservatory chapel of the East Side Funeral Directors, East 6th and Alder streets. Concluding services at Riverview cemetery.

Will Harnden, local printer who was killed in Los Angeles Monday, made his home in Portland at 2229 East Oak street. He was in California on a visit to his father-in-law, his brother, Frank Harnden, 607 East Belmont street, explained.

Harnden lived in Portland for more than 20 years and is well known in printing trade circles. He is survived by a widow and two children by an ex-wife. The body was to be sent to Portland for burial.
