ABNEY, Jack Dewayne, passed away March 21, 2005, in Lancaster at the age of 57 years. He was born and raised in Lancaster, and graduated from Antelope Valley High School, and was a U.S. Navy veteran serving in Vietnam. Loving father of Jacque Schultz and husband Jon, grandfather of Jordan and Jaelynn, beloved son of Jack and Ruby Abney. Also survived by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He loved his family dearly and was always thankful for his many friends. He enjoyed the outdoors as well as golfing. Services will be held at 10 a.m., Friday, March 25, 2005, at Mumaw Funeral Home with interment following at Lancaster Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 4 to 6 p.m. In lieu of flowers and in accordance to Jack's love of helping people, contributions in his memory should be made to Grace Resource Center, 45134 N. Sierra Hwy, Lancaster, CA 93534.
