Wayne was the son of Lowell Patton and Lettie Alexander. He married Betty Burkhalter, daughter of Gilbert Lee Burkhalter. Their children are Lowell Lee "Butch", Brenda Sue (Wilbanks), Jeffrey Scott and Michael Wayne Patton; 9 grandchildren; Brother: Bobby Patton; Sister: Patsy Alexander. Wayne was a retired business owner and longtime resident of Ruston, LA and enjoyed and enjoyed dirt track, car racing and NASCAR. He was a member of Ruston Lodge #106 F&AM.
