Isaac Decker was probably born and died in Ohio, perhaps on his parents' farm in Licking County. He died at age 8 years (thus born about 1841), before his parents Aaron Decker and Deborah (Oliver) Decker moved from Ohio to Kansas about 1856. Isaac is buried in a cemetery plot with three siblings who also died in childhood in Ohio: John W., Emily and Manerva. Also buried in this plot are his father's spinster sister Abigail Decker (memorial #48020109) and a person named either Samuel Oliver or Samuel Oliver Decker, who may be a brother or a relative of his mother Deborah (Oliver) Decker. His other siblings moved to Kansas where all but one are buried. Bio by Roland Decker, his first cousin twice removed.
