Betty Grace Gatten , 81, of Scenery Hill, died Thursday, November 30, in Washington Hospital.

She was born October 27, 1925, in North Bethlehem Township, a daughter of John M. and Cora Crumrine Fulton .

Mrs. Gatten was a 1943 graduate of Ellsworth High School. She worked at Brockway Glass Plant in Washington for more than 20 years.

Mrs. Gatten was a longtime member of North Ten Mile Baptist Church and its silver star mission circle.

On June 5, 1946, she married James (Ernie) Gatten , who survives.

Also surviving are a daughter, Phyllis and husband Ed Corgiat of Norris, Tenn., a son, Ralph F. and wife Rhonda Gatten of Scenery Hill; a sister, Cora Sprowls of Clover Hill; and three grandchildren, Edwin Corgiat and Lukas and Noah Gatten .

Deceased are two brothers, Roy Fulton and Brontz Fulton ; a sister, Stella Ewing; and a granddaughter, Corey Gatten .

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. Saturday in Nichol Funeral Home, 1873 East Maiden Street, Washington, where services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, December 3, with the Rev. Gary Schneider officiating. Interment will follow in North Ten Mile Cemetery, Amwell Township.
