Tony was a victim of Bullying at his school. He was the nicest guy you would ever meet. No one knew of his depression, because he would hide it so well. He had played several sports at Westside.
Tony’s funeral was held January 14, 2005 at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church. The outpour of love and support from the entire community was evident as shown by the nearly 1200 people in attendance, the performance by the senior members of the Westside Show Choir, the multiple priests concelebrating the mass, and dozens of magnificent flower arrangements lining the church. The beauty and perfection of the mass mirrored the inner beauty and magnificence of Tony.
