Edward's obituary appeared in the "San Francisco (CA) Chronicle" of Friday, 1 August 1919, page 4:

KELLEY - In Tonepah, Nev., suddenly, July 29, 1919, Edward J., dearly beloved son of Mary A. and the late Michael J. Kelley, and beloved brother of Harry A. and Ethel M. Kelley, Mrs. J.J. Maloney [sic] and Mrs. William Penaluna, a native of San Francisco.

The remains will arrive this morning (Friday), at 11 o'clock. A requiem mass will be celebrated today (Friday), at 9 o'clock, at St. Phillip's Church. The funeral will take place today (Friday), at 2:30 o'clock, from the parlors of Harry Glynn & Co., 4054 24th st., near Casiro. Interment, Holy Cross.
