Valentine Keller was born on 16 November 1764 in Heidelberg Township in then Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. He was Baptized on 9 December 1764 in the Heidelberg Congregation Church in Schaefferstown, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. His parents were Lorentz Keller and Maria Christina Besch. He traveled from Pennsylvania to Mercer County, Kentucky in the early 1780s, where he married his Wife Barbara Horine. In the mid-1820s, they moved to Putnam County, Indiana. His last appearance on a Census Record was in the 1830 Census Record for Putnam County, Indiana.
Valentine and Barbara Keller and their Family, among them their son John Keller, were some of the first settlers of the Greencastle, Indiana area.
