Argie William Pritchett passed away at his home in Pocatello, Idaho on March 8, 2013 at the age of 70.

Argie was born on March 13, 1942 to John Coleman and Ruby Pritchett in Fairview, Utah where he grew up. He graduated from North Sanpete High School in 1960. From 1960 to 1964, he served his country in the Navy on the USS Rainier in the South Pacific. Shortly after his service, he moved to Pocatello, Idaho and started a career and family. Argie worked for 35 years as a heavy machine operator in the Simplot mines. His work took him from Idaho to Wyoming, and then back to Idaho where he settled down for retirement. During retirement, he greatly enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, travelling, fantasy basketball, the Utah Jazz, and his grandchildren.

Argie was preceded in death by his parents and sisters Coleen (Pritchett) Baldy and Mary Lou Sorensen.

He leaves behind three children: Lori Pritchett-Sheats of Los Alamos, New Mexico, Travis Pritchett of Flower Mound, Texas, and Robert Pritchett of Herriman, Utah; four grandchildren: Avery, Zachary, Sophia, and Alexander; four siblings: Marva (Bunce) (Romriell) Hill of Fairview, Utah, Norma (Jensen) Vance of Payson, Utah, Leemond Bunce of Idaho Falls, Idaho, and Pearl May (Pritchett) Snow of Nephi, Utah; and many nieces and nephews.
