Myron George King, 85, of Albany died Wednesday at home.

He was born in Pender, Neb., to George and Angeline (Lammers) King. He was Married Aug. 7, 1938. He and wife
Yvonne moved to Albany in 1962.

Mr. King worked for Holland Lumber and was a bookkeeper at a
concrete pipe machinery company in South Sioux City, Neb. He
worked for Boeing during World War II.

After moving to Oregon, He owned the Coast to Coast Hardware
Store in Albany for three years. He worked for CH2M Hill of
Corvallis for 35 years.

Mr. King belonged to the Masonic Lodge. He enjoyed golf, gardening, reading and playing the stock market.

Surviving are wife Yvonne, sons Dennis of Jackson, Calif., Richard of University Place, Wash., and Roger of Yakima, Wash.; daughter Deborah Conrad of Albany; and brothers Bob of San Rafael, Calif., and Frank of Bend. There are eight grandchildren and a great-grandchild.

Two sisters preceded Mr. King in death. Private, family services are planned.

Myron George King, 85, of Albany died Wednesday at home.
