Joseph A. Frost, 88, died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. George Butler in Rome after an illness of three weeks.

He was born at Altmar Sept. 24, 1858, a son of Luther and Mary Mathews Frost. He married Lula House of Kasoag who died in 1903. In 1910 he married Eleanor French of Williamstown who died Aug. 3, 1945,

Mr. Frost was a member of the Amboy Lodge, a member of the Federated church, and the Williamstown grange.

He is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Butler of Rome and Miss Jeannette Frost supervisor of music in Clayton Central school; one son, Llewellyn of
Buffalo and two grandsons.

Services were held at his home in Williamstown Tuesday, Mar 20 with the Rev. Robert Belbin, former pastor of Williamstown officiating, assisted by the Rev.W.H. Stimson of Canastota, another former pastor.

Burial was in Fairview cemetery, Williamstown, in charge of J. Floyd Smith of Camden
