Ellis Lee McGuffee, 86, of Winnfield, passed away at 7:15 p.m. Tuesday, November 14, 1972 at Winnfield General Hospital.

Mr. McGuffee was a retired merchant and a member of Lauren Heights Baptist Church.

Funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 2 p.m. in Laurel Heights Baptist Church with Rev. Charles Haley, pastor, officiating, assisted by Rev. Henry J. Mott of Pineville. Interment, under direction of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home of Winnfield, will be in Greenwood Cemetery in Pineville.

Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Emerson Agan of Alexandria, one brother, I. B. McGuffee of Enterprise and one grandson, Steve Agan of Ruston.

Pallbearers and honorary pallbearers will be Deacons of Laurel Heights Baptist Church.

Members of the family will be at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. Owen Anders of Winnfield.
