SEIBEL, BERTHA (HAGER)

Bertha Seibel, 87, of Lodi died early Saturday morning in a local convalescent hospital after a brief illness.

She was a native of Hutchinson County, S. D., and had lived in Lodi since 1921.

Mrs. Seibel and her husband, George, had been vineyardist for many years.

She was preceded in death by her husband, George H. Seibel, who died in June 1974, and her son E. Warren Seibel who died in May 1981.

Mrs. Seibel was a member of the First Baptist Church of Lodi and the Woman's Missionary Society of the First Baptist Church.

Mrs. Seibel is survived by four daughters Betty Adam Sacramento, Minnie Pederson of Minnesota an Viola Enns of Fresno; 14 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

Services will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. in the Chapel of the Gierhart & Wells Funeral Home with the Rev. Walter Dingfield and the Rev. Robert C. Seibel officiating. Interment will be in Cherokee Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorials may be made in her name to the First Baptist Church Bus Fund.
