Jason Emory Drummond, 30, of Brunswick died Saturday, Jan. 10, 2004, as a result of injuries received in an automobile accident.
He was a lifelong resident of Brunswick and a 1992 graduate of Brunswick High School. He owned and operated Drummond Enterprises. Mr. Drummond loved NASCAR, music, fishing, boating, motor sports and skiing. He was devoted to his dog, Tillie.
He is survived by his mother and stepfather, Barbara and Gerald Rushing of Brunswick; his father, Rick Drummond of Savannah; a brother, Jeffrey Drummond of Brunswick; four stepbrothers, Troy Rushing of Atlanta, Paul Rushing and Ricky Andrew Drummond, both of Brunswick, and Nicholas Drummond of Savannah; his grandmothers, Clara Rowell of Brunswick and Nell Drummond of Vicksburg, Miss.; and his fiancée, Dawn Lawrence of Brunswick.
The funeral service will be held at 2 p. m. Wednesday in the chapel of Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home with the Rev. David Stokes officiating. Interment will follow in Chapel Park Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Jeremy Gibbs, John Smith, Dayton Jones, John Brown, Jason Robinson, Trevor Keatts, Ryan Lawrence and Noah Dixon.
Honorary pallbearers will be Mark Watson, Grover Drawdy, Greg Rhodes, James Rhodes, Jamie Elrod, Billy Gibbs, Greg Gibbs, Shawn Crosby, Chad Crosby, the personnel of G &G Construction Co., Advantage Vinyl Siding, Fine Line Painting, Coffey Electric, Harris Ace Hardware, Glenn Carlo, Tim Gentry, Jud Wilder, Todd Hope, Richard Cason, Matt Eckert, Noah Williams, Tommy Miller, Mickey Johnson, Jeff Emory, Chase Kicklighter, Tae-men Surh, Dooley Miller, Chris McBride, Jason Eley, Justin Dow, John Carter and Paul and Rita Finn.
