The body of a man found in Kentucky river at Shaker Ferry yesterday about noon was proved to be that of Roscoe Acton, of Danville, who had been missing since Saturday, Aug. 24.
Papers in a pocket of the clothing tentatively identified the man as the missing Acton.
An extensive search had been made for him since his disappearance.
Roscoe Acton, about 45 years old, is survived by his father, Dr. J. M. Acton, a step-mother, of Danville, and a brother, Carl Acton, who lives at Hazard.
