Stella was born in Lewiston, Sully co. SD. She is a sister to Fannie Weischedel Brehe. She married Gus Brehe 6/23/1909 in Lewiston. Stella was a tall burnette, with a good sense of humor always happy. She played piano & organ. She loved reading, and baking taking lots of prizes at the county fair. Gus and Stella had 5 children: Grace Irma 5/27/1910, Calvin Henry (Cal)1/5/1912,born in a blizzard, Mrytle Evelyn 10/12/1914, Charles Richard 7/19/1917, & Arlene Marie 8/3/1919. They also raised Hazel & Minnie Mae Flood who became orphaned in 1934.
