age 68 of Stanley, NC, formerly of 7339 Tuckaseegee Road, Charlotte died Wednesday, April 14, 1999 at Presbyterian Hospital She was born April 16, 1930 in Mecklenburg County the daughter of the late Clarence Harrison and Elva Deaton Harrison. She was a member of Covenant United Methodist Church, and retired inspector for Laird Plastics Company.
Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, April 16, at 11:00 AM in the Almond, Raymer & McConnell Funeral Home Chapel, Huntersville, NC with Rev. Eulice Thomas officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Charlotte, NC. The family will receive friends on Thursday evening from 7:00 to 8:30 PM at Almond, Raymer & McConnell Funeral Home, Huntersville, NC.
Survivors are her sons, Ernie Black of Pinebluff, NC, Eddie Black of Rutherford College, NC; daughters, Mrs. Connie Collins of Greensboro, NC, Mrs. Sandy Stockton of Rutherford College, NC, Mrs. Teresa Henson of Stanley, NC; sisters, Mrs. Cleo Sirmon of Columbia, SC, Mrs. Wilma ''Bill'' Spain of Charlotte, Mrs. Thelma Kissee of Huntersville, NC; 12 grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Memorials maybe made to the American Lung Association, 5315 Greenbrook Drive, Charlotte, NC 28212.
