William D. "Bill" Angstadt Jr., 48, Jefferson Township, passed away Feb. 26, 2008, in the emergency room at Reading Hospital.

Born in West Reading, he was a son of Nancy (Henne) Schoener, wife of Richard Schoener, Bernville, and the late W. David Angstadt Sr.

Bill was employed as a farmer from 1980 to 1988 by Lee Katz Farm, Bernville, and for the past 20 years Bill was employed at Hetrickdale Farms, Jefferson Township, last working Tuesday.

Bill was an Army veteran, enlisting in 1977.

He was a 1977 graduate of Tulpehocken High School.

Additional survivors include a son, Justin D. Angstadt, Jefferson Township.

Other survivors include a brother, Peter J. Angstadt, husband of Tina M. (Hower) Angstadt, Tulpehocken Township, and a sister, Sandra S., wife of Steve Fisher, Medina, Ohio.

Services were held on Saturday at 11 a.m. in the Kirkhoff Funeral Home, 206 N. Main St., Bernville, with the Rev. Roderick Sutliff officiating.
