Mina McAdams,89, of Carrollton died at 10:00 A.M. Wednesday morning April 11, 2001 at Reisch Memorial Nursing Home in Carrollton. Born in Glasgow, Ill. on Nov. 24, 1911 she was the daughter of the late Edward S. (1890-1929) and Mary E. (Clanton) Savage (1894-1963).
She married Harvey Bryant (1909-1983) in 1932 and he preceded her in death. She later married James LeRoy McAdams (1902-1974), and Irvin L. Mitchell(1906-1965).
Children: Mary C. Middleton, Geraldine Bryant, Beulah Henson, Shirley Ann Shive, James R. Bryant and Mike Bryant. Preceding her in death was a son Harvey Edward Bryant.
Mina was a nursing assistant and had worked at Boyd Memorial Hospital. She also worked at the State Hospital in Jacksonville. She loved her family and had a wonderful sense of humor.
