MRS. ELIZABETH HARRISON
Aged Lady of Cleveland Passes to Her Reward

CLAEVELAND, Tenn., April 24.-- Mrd. Elizabeth Harrison, aged 70 years, died at her home in this city at 6 o'clock this morning, after a lingering illness of about six months. Death was due to heart trouble and other complications growing out of a severe attack of the grip early last fall. Deceased was born in Cocke county, near Newport, Tenn., March 21, 1838. Shortly after her marriage the family removed to Polk county, where Mr. Harrison died about thirty years ago. A few years later Mrs. Harrison came to Bradley county, where she has since resided. The surviving members of the family are R. A. Harrison, republican nominee for trustee of Polk county; J. I. Harrsion, senior edito of the Cleveland Herald, who, on Tuesday, was nominated to be postmaster of this city; Mrs. D. K. Lawson, J. Fetzer Harrison and Mrs. Wiley Jones, all of Bradley county, and Mrs. W. R. Scott of Ringgold, Ga.
The fineral will be held at Benton at 11 o'clock Saturday morning, the Rev. L. B. Stivers, pastor of the Inman Street Baptist church, officiating. (Obit provided by Cindy Womble Biillman)
