A bronze plaque was erected to establish the burials of the earliest setters in Frederick. No stones exist today and many of these internments were originally at theTrinity Chapel (abandoned). The plaque in Memorial Grounds Park has been able to add 366 inscriptions from the two cemeteries. There are 17 more names recorded on a plaque at the Trinity Chapel cemetery.
In 1904 Michael A. Gruber copied inscription then remaining. Scharf also made transcription here. Thus, the present compiler, Jacob Mehrling Holdcraft, as published in Names In Stone, by incorporating information recorded by Scharf, and Gruber.
