Harold Howard Herrington, age 77 of Rowlett, TX, passed away March 3, 2013, after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born July 6, 1935 in Orange, TX, to Harold Sr. and Leatha (Guidry) Herrington. Harold earned his B.A. at Stephen F. Austin and served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. After his retirement, he followed his passion and began building Concertinas that he sold worldwide. Harold was a member of St. Pius X Catholic Church in Dallas, TX.

He is survived by his wife: Lynda (Oliver) Herrington of Rowlett, TX; daughters: Leslie Jameson of Rockwall, TX, and Kristin Lonergan and husband Bobby of Garland, TX; brother: Richard Herrington of Orange, TX; sister: Sue Gage of Baytown, TX; grandchildren: Connor and Bailey Jameson, Max Groce, and Sophie, Chloe and Faith Lonergan. Harold was preceded in death by his parents; and son: Guy Harold Herrington.

Services will be held 2:00pm, Wednesday, March 6, 2013 at Rest Haven Funeral Home – Rowlett Chapel with Don McLane officiating. Interment will take place at a later date in DFW National Cemetery.
