Edward William Werner, 75, of 4628 Wyoming, died Monday at a nursing home at 7541 Switzer, Overland Park. He was a lifelong area resident. Mr Werner had been a professional piano player 50 years and currently was a member of the Hank Hendershot's "Men of Music." He was a Lutheran.

He leaves four daughters, Mrs Norma Louise Adams, Tenafly, NJ; Mrs. Dolores Caroline Kennedy, Houston; Mrs Betty Ruth Glavas, Tulsa; and Mrs Mary Catherine Creagan, Kansas City; two brothers, Paul Werner, Kansas City, Kansas, and George Werner, Edmond, Okla; two sisters, Mrs Marie Nave, Kansas City, Kansas, and Mrs Carrie Culbertson, Mission, and 13 grandchildren.

Services will be at 2pm Wednesday at the McGilley Midtown Chapel; burial in Mount Washington Cemetery. Friends may call after 4pm today at the chapel. The family requests no flowers and suggests contributions to the American Cancer Society.
