Fannie Louise Ritchie was born in Grant County, Kentucky on July 16, 1940 and passed away at the St. Elizabeth Hospice in Edgewood, Kentucky on March 5, 2013 at the age of 72. She was the daughter of the late Wilbert and Mary Sturgeon Miller.
Preceded in death by her husband, Earl F. Plunkett in 2004, Fannie is survived by her daughters: Wanda Thompson of Florence, Lisa Atkinson of Union and Julie White of Kentucky; her sons: Larry Ritchie of Florence, Jeffery Ritchie of Florence and Wayne Ritchie of Jonesville; her brothers: Jimmy Ray Miller of Crittenden, Donnie Miller of Crittenden and Junior Miller of Ohio; her sisters: Willena Conners of Crittenden and Linda Jo Eckler of Crittenden; 16 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. A son, Gary Lee Ritchie, a brother, Wendell Miller and a sister, Ruthie Beach all died previously.
Funeral services will be 11:00 AM, Saturday, March 9, 2013 at the Hamilton - Stanley Funeral Home, 14635 Walton-Verona Rd., Verona, KY 41092. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Friday from 4:00 - 7:00PM. Burial will be in the East Bend Cemetery, Burlington, KY.
