LOUISA (YORK) LOVELAND, 92, of Bloomfield, wife of the late Earl G. Loveland,Sr, left this life on Monday (Aug 28) to be with her sons, Winston and "E.G." Loveland; and her precious granddaughters Jeannie and Kathy Butch. She was born in Hartford, and lived in Bloomfield most of her life. She was a cafeteria worker in the Bloomfield School System before retiring and was a member of Blue Hills Willing Workers, the Wintonbury Historical Society, the American Legion Auxillary, and the Tunxis Grange, She was also a member of the Blue Hills Baptist Church, and served for several years as a member of the Bloomfield Board of Education.

Left to mourn are her son and daughter-in-law, Shirlee and George Butch of Granby; 14 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. The funeral service will be Wednesday, 1 p.m., in the chapel of the Carmon Windsor Funeral Home, 807 Bloomfield Avenue, Windsor, with the Rev. Mary Wood officiating.

Burial will be in Mountain View Cemetery, Bloomfield. Her family will receive friends today, 7-8 p.m., at the Carmon Windsor Funeral Home. Donations may be made to the Bloomfield Ambulance Fund, c/o the Bloomfield Town Hall, 800 Bloomfield Avenue, Bloomfield 06002, or the Granby Ambulance Association, P.O. Box 617, Granby.
