A native of Spurger, Texas, she was a longtime resident of Lumberton. Mrs. Holcombe was a retired operator from Southwestern Bell Telephone Co.
She is preceded in death by her husband James J Holcombe and her parents, William McKinley and Elizabeth Mock Bingham.
She is survived by a son, Terry Lynn Holcombe; grandsons Joe and Tim Holcombe; sister Mary Davenport and three nieces.
Graveside services will be held at Beech Creek Cemetery, in Spurger, Texas.
