Kimbell, who died Saturday, was born Oct. 19, 1898 and came to this area in 1905 with his parents. He belonged to the Texhoma Masonic Lodge and Order of Eastern Star and was a farmer and plumber by trade. He was married to Anna H. Wright in Clovis, N. M. in 1951.
Survivors include his wife of the home, a step son, Herman Turner of Huntsville, Ala.; a step-daughter, Mrs. Joe Pate of Alvin, Tex., two sisters, May K. Hanlon of Texhoma and Mrs. Jane Green of Boston, Mass.
Interment will be in the Texhoma Cemetery with the Dawson Welch Funeral Home in charge of services.
