Lt. Robert Horace Hicks, USN (Ret), of Charleston, SC, husband of Patricia Hicks, entered into eternal rest March 4, 2013. A Funeral Service will be held Thursday, March 7, 2013 in the James Island Christian Church, 12 Sawgrass Road at 11:00 am.
Robert was born November 12, 1928 in Sanford, Florida, the son of the late Mardie Hicks and Mattie Davis Hicks.
He retired as a Lieutenant from the United States Navy and he was a member of the James Island Christian Church.
Lt. Hicks is survived by his wife of 49 years, Patricia Hicks of Charleston; daughter, Suzanne Hicks Hooper (Larry) of Auburn, WA; and two grandchildren, Christopher James and Patrick Dean Bradley.
The family will receive friends March 7, 2013, from 10:00 am until time of service at 11:00 am at the James Island Christian Church. Interment will be in Live Oak Memorial Gardens.
