Clara F. Evans, 33, died in the sanitarium here Saturday morning, following an illness of several weeks.
She is survived by her husband, James C. Evans, well known local contractor, three children, Eldon, Ruby and Hubert, her parents, Mr. and Mrs. M. R. Alagood, sisters, Ora Wood and Ferol Ruble, brothers, Oscar, Arthur, Ray, Gay and J. C. Alagood.
Mrs. Evans was born on July 22, 1892 and has resided in Gainesville many years. She was a faithful member of the First Baptist church, a kind and loving wife and mother and she has a large host of friends who are grieved to learn of her untimely death.
