Laura Braddick, Frankton, Dies

FRANKTON - Mrs. Laura Olive Braddick, 81, widow of William Braddick, died at 2 a.m. today following a long illness at the family residence here. The body was taken to the George C. Harper Funeral Home, where friends will be received after 7 p.m. Friday, and where the funeral rites will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in charge of the Rev. Otto C. Stroup, assisted by the Rev. Dorman Pritchard. Burial will be in the K of P-IOOF Cemetery here.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Dottie Jones, New Castle; three sons, Ernest, Frankton; Dale at home, and Carl, RR1, Frankton; 11 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Mrs. Braddick was born Dec. 16, 1870, in Grant County. She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Halfin. She was wed to Mr. Braddick in March, 1887. He died in March 1933. Mrs. Braddick has spent all of her married life in the Frankton community. She was a member of the Methodist Church here.
