Alvin Joe Goble, age 77, died Monday March 4, 2013.
He was born January 23, 1936, to the late High T. and Daisy B. Scalf Goble.
Joe was a a logger with the John's Creek Sawmill.
Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by two brothers, Denver Goble, Alfred Goble, one sister, Betty Joe Goble.
The husband of Rosie Boyd Goble, and the father of Carl (C.J. the DJ) Jarrell Jr.
Also surviving is one brother, Jim Jack Goble of Danville, KY., seven sisters, Mary Sue Blevins of Tram, KY., Margie Kay May of Pikeville, KY., Mollie Hall of Danville, KY., Mary Lowe of Boldman, KY., Cleo Lowe of Pikeville, KY., Alvanell Hall of Lowmansville, KY., Margaret Hite of Pikeville, KY., one granddaughter, Madison Cheyene Jarrell of Flat Gap.
Funeral services will be held at 12 noon Friday March 8, 2013, at the Riverside Baptist Church at Tram, KY, with Clyde Hancock and Curt Jarvis officiating. Burial in the Kidd Cemetery at Dana, KY.
Visitation will be from 2 to 10 p.m. Wednesday and 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Thursday at the church.
